Mike Bree entered the financial services industry in 1990 and strives to help successful entrepreneurs and professionals develop plans to make work optional and keep their family in business. He is committed to being an advocate for the families he serves, while seeking to ensure their wealth helps their family grow and thrive together.
Mike was co-founder of Pillar Wealth Advisors, LLC and helped to grow the business by aiming to enhance clients’ financial lives. In 2024 Mike had the opportunity to join Jacobi Wealth Advisors and Jacobi Capital Management, LLC. With a goal to help enhance the client experience and enhance client opportunities.
Mike served on the Pillar Wealth Advisors Investment Committee and has held several notable positions, including past Chair of the Penn Mutual National Advisor Council, former Advisory Board Member of eMoney Advisors, LLC., past President of the Society of Financial Services Professionals of Delaware, and past Board Member of the Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Contractors of Delaware.
Mike is a member of Fieldstone Golf Club, Caves Valley Golf Club, and Wilmington Country Club. He currently serves as the Board Chair of First Tee-Delaware, a Director for the Evans Scholar Foundation, and is the past Co-Chair of the Make-A-Wish Delaware Golf Tournament. He resides in Kennett Square, PA, with his wife, Marijoy, and their four children. Mike enjoys golf, reading, great wine, and spending time with his family.
